Prostasin

A serine endopeptidase that has a similar cleavage specificity to TRYPSIN, favoring substrates with poly-basic amino acid sequences. Prostasin plays a critical role in activating EPITHELIAL SODIUM CHANNELS through cleavage of the ENAC gamma subunit.
