AMW:CHEM:080749

A cytoplasmic cyclophilin with molecular chaperoning properties. It is found along with other MOLECULAR CHAPERONES, in steroid aporeceptor complexes and plays a role in maintaining the nonnative folding-competent intermediate state of the steroid aporeceptors.
