Perilymphatic Fistula

An abnormal connection between inner ear and the surrounding structures, resulting in a leakage of the PERILYMPH. It is most common in a whiplash-type head trauma injury. Perilymph or labyrinthine fistulas may result in dizziness and/or intermittent hearing loss.
