AMW:MICRO:011015A genus of ascomycetous yeast in the family Dipodascaceae, order SACCHAROMYCETALES. It is characterized by asci which have persistent walls and by smooth-walled ascospores. Anamorphs are in the genus GEOTRICHUM.
